Lon Vining
Lon Vining has been a Baptist minister the better part of forty years, and loves telling about, and singing about the Lord Jesus. He has served as a missionary in Tanzania, East Africa with the IMB and as a church planter/pastor with the North American Mission Board in Quebec, Canada, Boulder, Co and Arkadelphia, Ark. He has also served churches in the roles of minister of missions, music, and youth. He has a degree in Biblical Studies—Languages from Ouachita Baptist University and a Masters degree in Christian Studies—Missions from Union University. On the side, Lon has used his musical talents to perform on a variety of stages and platforms, from solo to choral to worship teams and even the lead vocal role in the animated musical “The Promise: Birth of the Messiah” by Glorious Films. He is married to wife Tamara and has four children, two step-children, and two grand children.
